Daguerreotype Achromat f/2.9 64mm Art Lens
The Daguerreotype Achromat F2.9 64mm Art Lens is based on the first photographic optic lens from 1839. Daguerrotypes were the first photographic process publicly available. They would expose the photos on shiny silver plated copper with mercury vapour. It was wild. Its characteristics are “ethereal” and glowy. You slot in gobo type aperture plates from F/2.9 to f/16 but they have also included what they call Lumière and Aquarelle aperture plates which are patterns that give the bokeh a painterly impressionist look – it’s not subtle.
