This version is Cine Modded really well. No irritating quirks. The standard 8 blade aperture (not the anamor-fake version nor the 16 blade version). Beautiful flares, very dreamy. We do also have a set of amber coated Iron Glass MK1 Cine Mods and all the pains / gains that comes with using them.

Module 8 L1 Tuner (“Super Baltar Look”) – EF to E Mount

Mounts EF lenses to E-mount cameras but with some magical glass that emulates the Super Baltar lenses that brought us the Godfather Part I and II, Hitchcock’s “Birds”. It works best on fast lenses. Autofocus does pass through so using these with something like Sigma Art primes is such a quick and cheap hack to make “cinematic” images on the cheap with a one man band setup. They look rad with the cheap Samyangs.

Mounts EF lenses to E-mount cameras but with some magical glass that emulates Iain Neil’s signature look (anamorphic characterteristics). It works best on fast lenses. If I was a genius, I would have started this company… But alas, I digress… Metabones has become the benchmark in prosumer adaptors thanks to the Speed Booster. Besides allowing you to use Canon EF glass on Sony E-mount cameras, such as the FS7, it gives you an extra stop of light and reduces the crop factor from about 1.55x to 1.07x – giving a full frame view on an APS-C sized sensor.
